This kit can make either an AIM-9 sidewinder or AIM- 9J. The kits have parts that can make missiles of different types. Assigning a scale to the missiles would be a mistake since the length can be adjusted by placing the fins in your desired position. The diameter can be fudged some with out being noticed. We have provided the measurements of the completed kits so you can decide what your war bird needs. All the kits require assembly and painting. Plastic model cement, acrylic or enamel paints are recommended however, polyurethane coatings can be used if applied in thin coats. Note these are static models only! Installing model rocket motors is not recommended!
